Senior Associate, Legal
Sofía joined Altriarch in 2026 as a Senior Legal Associate, bringing experience in commercial finance, cross-border receivables financing and complex structured credit transactions. At Altriarch, Sofía supports the Firm’s private credit and asset-based lending activities, providing legal support across investment execution, portfolio management and restructuring matters while working closely with the Firm’s Asset Management, Credit and Finance teams.
Prior to joining Altriarch, Sofía served as a Transactional Legal Associate at Marco Capital, Inc., a U.S. based fintech specializing in cross-border receivables financing. In that role, she structured and negotiated multi-jurisdictional financing transactions across the United States, Latin America and Europe, and supported enforcement and recovery strategies related to asset-backed credit facilities.
Earlier in her career, Sofía was a Senior Associate at Ferrere Abogados, one of Latin America’s leading law firms, where she focused on complex commercial litigation and arbitration. Her litigation background informs her transactional practice by providing a strong focus on enforcement strategy and risk mitigation in financing structures.
Sofía earned her law degree from Universidad de la República in Montevideo, Uruguay, where she also served as a teaching assistant in Contracts and Civil Law.
